How to avoid busy beaches in Hawai`i on the fourth of July
Here in Hawai`i, and just like the rest of the US, the fourth of July is pretty big. And everyone and their Tutu's (Hawaiian for grandma) is AT THE BEACH! Everyone has the day off, so everyone goes to the beach and BBQ's.
But there's other super awesome fun alternatives to going to the beach on such a busy holiday, and that option is A SLIP N SLIDE.
Our good friends host their annual Fourth of July Slip n Slide party every year and in my opinion, is the best way to spend the day. You don't have to worry about sand in every crevice. No fighting for a shower or worrying about no toilet paper in the public beach bathrooms. And you don't have to pack a bunch of stuff. Just make a dish and bring it over.
Gabriel and Esther had an absolute blast! Add on a bounch house and a swing set, then sit back and relax while your kids expend ALL of their energy, and sleep the whole ride home, and the rest of the afternoon.
