Together at Last
When Andrea came to me for her session, she wanted to make sure it was special for her step-daughter, Mara, whom they don't get to see very often. So I set out to make sure it was a session to remember.
Right at the start of their session I took off running, and Rosie, their little dog, came running down the beach after me, along with Mara, and her gorgeous smile. The two other siblings, Aria and Baz, came running down too. Someone had built a cool little fort out of driftwood and branches and I knew it would be a fun little place for the kids to play. But, like all kids, their attention can't be kept for too long, and just like that they were off digging in the sand, walking on driftwood, running, dancing, playing.
My kind of session.
But some of my favorite moments are the quiet ones as well. The moments when the little one's energy starts to wind down and you find their way back to mom, for some much-needed snuggling. It's important to be quick though! Because soon enough they were off playing again.
I had such so much fun sharing this adventure with the Schindler Family. And I can't wait to see what's in store for your next adventure!
With all my heart,
Ku`u
